Parents who struggle with co-parenting often work with third party neutral decision makers who make decisions when parents cannot agree. In Minnesota, this can be confusing. Minnesota offers 2 different parent facilitation roles. Parents and lawyers sometimes don't understand the difference. Your instructor has experience working with families in both roles and clears up some of the confusion surrounding these roles.
This self-paced course will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. The content consists of videos, quizzes and a few extras.
Lesson One: Our Disclaimer
Lesson Two: PC and PTE Roles Defined
Lesson Three: Confidentiality and Immunity
Lesson Four: PTE and PC appointments
Lesson Five: Who Pays the Cost?
This is a self-paced course that will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. The course includes 5 lessons to help explain the ADR roles of parenting time expeditors and parenting consultants. Because the state of Minnesota is the only state that utilizes parenting time expeditors, this course is geared toward learners in Minnesota. However, this course does explain the role of parenting consultants, which may be called a parent coordinator or parenting coordinator in different court settings, which may be helpful to learners in other states who are considering the appointment of a pc.
